Shipping Costs and Policies

Shipping costs are added for all orders at Checkout.  Your (Ready to Assemble) RTA cabinets are packaged in individual boxes and placed onto a shrink wrapped pallet.  The RTA cabinets will be shipped via common carrier  using the most efficient provider based both on estimated time and price.  The RTA cabinets can be shipped to an actual street address (residential or commercial, but not P.O. Box) with or without a loading dock, and construction sites that are tractor trailer accessible.  All shipments must be inspected and signed by an authorized person.   A lift-gate is typically included on freight deliveries to residential addresses and available for commercial deliveries if needed.  The freight delivery driver is only responsible for placing the pallet onto the ground on residential deliveries or commercial deliveries without a dock or forklift.  Shipping and handling charges cover one delivery attempt to customer.  In the event that due to customer availability or other customer circumstance, an order is not deliverable, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping and handling charges.  If there are any problems concerning the delivery please contact myCabinetPlace.com as soon as possible.  All shipments should be thoroughly inspected for damage by you before the shipment is accepted.  You are responsible for all damage that occurs following receipt of the shipment.

Note, orders shipped to Canada may incur duty and tax fees.  All duty and tax fees are not included in the price and shipping charges.  All duty and tax fees are the responsibility of the customer.  Additionally, all requirements for orders to clear Customs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Customer Pick-up

Customers can pick-up their orders at our warehouses located in Fall River, Massachusetts, Bolingbrook, Illinois, or Atlanta, Georgia for JSI cabinet lines and Minniapolis, Minnesota for the Gran Tierra cabinets.  By selecting "Customer Pick-up" during Check-Out all shipping charges will be removed from your order.

We will email you the specific instructions including the order number, the address of the warehouse, and the date when your order will be available.  Orders should be ready for pick up within a few days.  The pick up hours at the warehouses are approximatley from 9:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Product availability: All kitchen and bathroom cabinets, vanities and accessories should be available at each warehouse location except for the following items:

  • Fall River, MA: JSI Craftsman Bristol and Salem 42" and 60" vanities are not available for pick-up.
  • Bolingbrook, IL: All JSI Danbury vanities, Fairfield kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and Designer series 30" wide tall pantries are not available for pick-up.
  • Atlanta, GA: All JSI Danbury vanities, Fairfield kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and Designer series 30"wide tall pantries are not available for pick-up.

Note, the manufacturer reserves the right to change the availability of items at a particular warehouse.  As a result, myCabinetPlace.com will not be liable for items not available for pick-up at a particular warehouse.  If an item is not available at a particular warehouse we will inform you as soon as possible and let you know the shipping cost.  We will then adjust your order or refund you money according to your instructions. 

These restrictions do not apply to shipped orders. 

Freight Only orders

Certain items, such as tall pantry cabinets, 4'x8' sheets of plywood, medicine cabinets, light fixtures, mirrors, etc., can only be shipped as freight by common carrier.  Freight carriers have a minimum cost which has been determined based on our warehouse locations and the Ship To address.  If your order includes one or more items that must be shipped freight and the total calculated shipping charge is less than the minimum freight cost then a Freight Only charge is added to the shipping charge to increase the shipping charge to the minimum freight cost.  If your order is over $2000 and the freeship2000 coupon is used than the Freight Only charge will not apply.  Also, if you choose Customer Pickup then the Freight Only charges will not apply.
